The author of the series Andor, which will very soon be born with a second season, Tony Gilroy is preparing to direct the first horror film in the Star Wars universe. According to the words of the director, Lucasfim producers have already approved this idea, and production is about to begin.

“Right now everything is in the process of development,” Gilroy emphasized.

However, Disney representatives are still silent. It is also unknown whether the Star Wars horror film will be a film or a TV series. Let us remind you that at the moment the “mouse studio” is actively expanding the universe of George Lucas, so rumors about a horror film may be completely justified. Nevertheless, you definitely shouldn’t expect a release of a genre project in the near future. Disney's current plans are to release a feature-length film based on The Mandalorian.

Darth Vader is considered one of the best villains in cinema, which is largely due to the elaborate story arc about the fall of the hero.

Haden Christensen believes that not all the stories about Darth Vader have been told. Ahead of the 20th anniversary of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith, where Anakin Skywalker succumbed to the dark side of the Force, the actor announced at Star Wars Celebration Japan that he will return for the second season of Ahsoka.

"I can't say much, but Anakin will be back in season two," Christensen said during the panel. Anakin previously appeared in the first season as a Force ghost in Between Worlds, meeting with former student Ahsoka.

It's unclear what role Skywalker will have in the Ahsoka sequel, but the actor hopes to don Darth Vader's armor again. In an interview with ComicBook he said that there were still stories about the character after Revenge of the Sith.

Ahmed Best played Jar Jar Binks in the 1999 film Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace. However, he is famous not only for his role as a Gungan.

In the third season of The Mandalorian, Jedi Knight Kelleran Beck appeared, who saved Grogu. He was played by Best. Interestingly, Beck first appeared in the web series Star Wars: Jedi Temple Challenge. After The Mandalorian he disappeared.

In an interview with ComicBook as part of Star Wars Celebration 2025, the actor said that he has no plans yet leave the role.

I'm always ready to put on the robe again. I've imagined his future adventures in my head, so hopefully we can make it a reality one day. It was fun to play him.

Best added that his short fight scene in The Mandalorian was only "one-tenth of one percent of what can be shown." The actor wants to star in a large-scale battle.

Lott kittens, Admiral Ackbar and the Chosen One are just some of the incredible discoveries.

The highly anticipated second season of Star Wars: Ahsoka doesn't begin filming until next week, but that doesn't mean the cast and crew haven't prepared plenty of previews, teasers, and a pre-production teaser to share with audiences at Star Wars Celebration Japan.

The jury included creator, writer and showrunner Dave Filoni, executive producer Jon Favreau, and Ahsoka herself, Rosario Dawson (they were joined a little later by a special guest).

Favreau called himself the show's number one fan and an "early viewer" of the second season, having had a front-row seat to Filoni's entire creative process. As he puts it, “He draws all the time. It's his creative process that just flows out of him. Then it becomes a script, and then it becomes a collaborative art.”

What does Favreau expect from the second season? “I could go on and on about the visuals, the sets, the fights, the ships,” he said, “but the show is all about family and relationships, so I'm looking forward to seeing how the relationships develop.”

So, what secrets of Ahsoka have been revealed? Read on to find out our top five takeaways to help you prepare for the upcoming second season.
