Weekly hunting missions on land and in space are being added to SWG Legends
The new highly replayable system combines ground missions, space combat, individual objectives, group objectives and lower level combat.
Star Wars Galaxies Legends is preparing a new weekly mission system that will take players into battles on land and space. The missions are designed for single players, groups, and even low-level characters. The system was revealed in the latest developer diary and is based around a new mission board run by a Rodian named Kritz Baelna. Players will be able to take on repeatable missions ranging from Tier 5 Rebel starships to much more dangerous ground targets such as the Shadow Cult of the Sith and Terentatek. For completing tasks, players will receive boxes with rewards.
The most interesting thing is just this combination. For much of 2026, Legends has been busy improving certain aspects of the game. The massive Battle of Restuss update pushed PvP and bounty hunting forward, while the June update expanded Bespin, space content, and improved usability systems. Weekly hunts don't feel like just another isolated activity, but rather like a link between the many systems that already exist in SWG.
