Modder ArjaanAuinger has released a demo version of his RTX Remix mod for Star Wars: Jedi Knight 2 - Jedi Outcast. This project was one of the first cases of using RTX rendering for a game on the OpenGL engine, which required non-standard solutions.

To implement the plan, the author had to overcome technical difficulties. He used the QindieGL shell from crystice-softworks and carefully tweaked the configuration files to adapt the OpenGL version of the game to RTX Remix.

The current version of the mod features one game level DOOM_COMM with improved textures (using AI upscaling), a completely redesigned lighting system and combined PBR materials.
