Star Wars fans have debated who the strongest Jedi is for years. But in reality there is no competition.

After the release of Return of the Jedi in 1983, it became abundantly clear to fans that Luke Skywalker was the strongest Jedi of all time. He defeated the Sith and accomplished what no other Jedi could do. However, the prequel trilogy showed how powerful his father, Anakin, was.

If we consider only canon and all references, then Anakin Skywalker is by far the most powerful Jedi. However, if we consider the expanded universe, then, undoubtedly, it is Luke.

Both characters have demonstrated their immense power throughout canon, and it's no secret that they are extremely gifted. However, Anakin should be favored in canon for several reasons.

'Star Wars' to Bring Back 'Legends' Character Associated with Luke Skywalker

In 2026, a new Star Wars project about Luke Skywalker, which is dedicated to the Legends character, will be released. Familiar characters are gradually returning to the canon after Disney acquired Lucasfilm.

The graphic novel Tales from the Outer Rim: The Legend of Beggar's Canyon features canonical characters such as Luke Skywalker and Biggs Darklighter. Also featured will be popular Legends character Jenek Sunber, also known as Tank.

Tales from the Outer Rim: The Legend of Beggar's Canyon will follow Luke in his youth, before the events of A New Hope. The story will bring to life a line from the original film in which Luke talks about Beggar's Canyon and his T-16 speeder. The synopsis of the comic is presented below:

The creator of The Acolyte believes that the canceled Star Wars series was a "success"

Leslie Headland commented on the ongoing discussion about The Acolyte after its cancellation and after one season on Disney+. The creator of the project explained why she considers the show successful, and also said that at an early stage of development it had a different name.

The Acolyte series was originally called The Lost Sister, a direct reference to the twins May and Osha. This information is confirmed by the book The Art of Star Wars: The Acolyte, written by Christine Baver and published by Abrams Books.

Darth Plagueis was the main villain of the canceled Star Wars series.

New information has confirmed that Darth Plagueis was set to be a villain in the canceled Star Wars series during the Rise of the Republic.

In July 2024, shortly after the end of the first season of Acolyte, Lucasfilm officially announced the cancellation of the series. The creators were counting on at least one more season, as was hinted at by the ending of the first. This left fans with many questions, including: Who was the Stranger? Why did Yoda appear in the finale? And was it really Darth Plagueis in the cave?

As part of the new art book, Art of Star Wars: The Acolyte, series creator Leslye Headland has lifted the veil of secrecy over some key details of the canceled show. According to TheDirect, she confirmed plans for Darth Plagueis:

I always wanted Plagueis to show up at the end of the season. His appearance in the middle would seem too difficult. So we decided to introduce the era, the main characters, and the storyline first, and then introduce Plagueis as a bigger threat.

Although many have speculated that the mystery character is Plagueis, this has never been directly confirmed over the eight episodes of “The Acolyte.”

Villain Confirmed to Return for 'Ahsoka 2'

In the second season of Ahsoka, one of the main villains of the first season of the Star Wars series will return.

The show, starring Rosario Dawson, introduced several antagonists, chief among them Grand Admiral Thrawn. Other enemies also appeared, such as Morgan Elsbeth, the Great Mothers of Dathomir, Marrok, Baylan Skoll, and Shin Hachi. While Marrok and Morgan are not expected to return for season two, one more character has been confirmed to appear.

According to actress Jane Edwina Seymour's website, Lakesis will appear in the second season of Ahsoka in several episodes. This is indicated by the fact that she worked with several directors.
