Actor Cameron Monaghan said that Cal Kestis, the protagonist of the acclaimed games Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, is his favorite character of his entire career. The announcement was made during a recent special screening of the new season of the animated miniseries LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past, which premiered last month on Disney Plus.

Our games are generally aimed at adults, and Cal often finds himself in dangerous situations and experiencing existential angst. It was nice to have fun with him and relax.

Star Wars: Beyond Victory is a project from ILM (Industrial Light & Magic), a studio known for Vader Immortal and Tales from the Galaxy's Edge. The game offers three modes: a story-driven “Adventure” mode, an arcade mode about pod racing, and a “Playset” mode in which you can move characters and vehicles from “Star Wars” into your own room.

The story mode is approximately two hours long and takes players into the world of Empire-era sub-racing (and also contains references to the Han Solo film). Arcade mode allows you to race on a holographic table right in your room, which is more reminiscent of playing in an arcade machine than a classic racing race. Well, “Playset” makes it possible to transfer characters and vehicles from the Star Wars universe into mixed reality - it turns out something like virtual toys in your home.

Star Wars returns to theaters in spring 2026 to continue the story of Din Djarin and Grogu. The first trailer hinted at the plot of the film, but it is being kept secret for now.

According to a report from the podcast Star Wars Sessions, The Mandalorian and Grogu featured more location shooting than the Mando series. This gave the project one of the main advantages over its predecessor.

It's worth noting that The Mandalorian's three seasons primarily used The Volume technology. Despite its advantages, this approach also had disadvantages, for example, the long preparation of 3D scenery.

This Crazy Ahsoka Season 2 Theory Could Be the Wildest Twist in Star Wars History

This Crazy Ahsoka Season 2 Theory Could Be the Wildest Twist in Star Wars History

We rarely indulge in theories about future Star Wars projects, but there's one circulating on social media that's so wild (yet plausible) that we had to dig into it.

Ahsoka Season 2 recently wrapped filming and is expected to premiere next year on Disney+. So far, only crumbs of the series have been available to fans, and the main source of news about the new season of Star Wars has been controversial behind-the-scenes photos of the actors. However, recent comments from Bryce Dallas Howard, who directed two of the eight episodes of the second season, coupled with the intriguing note on which the first season ended, has sparked a lot of speculation about what's to come.

The theory outlined by ScreenRant suggests that the Gods of Mortis will play a significant role in the second season. This is a reasonable assumption, considering that the first season ended with Bailan Skoll standing on top of a huge statue of the Father.

But the Father is only one of the three Gods of Mortis, the others are the Son and the Daughter. For those unfamiliar, the Gods of Mortis were introduced in “The Clone Wars” as three extremely powerful figures representing three different facets of the Force: the dark side (Son), light side (Daughter), and balance (Father). It is implied that the murder of the Daughter in The Clone Wars upset the balance of the Force, setting the stage perfectly for Anakin to fall to the dark side in Revenge of the Sith.

Games based on the Star Wars universe often become cult favorites and are even among the best projects of their time. But the 1999 adaptation of Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace for PC and PS1 left a rather dark legacy. The game received lukewarm reviews from critics, partly due to strict restrictions imposed by the publisher and difficulties in development.

The development was carried out by Big Ape Productions, founded by LucasArts veterans Dean Sharp and Mike Ebert. Before that, they created Herc's Adventures, but later became famous for more controversial games like The Simpsons Wrestling and MTV Celebrity Deathmatch. In the case of Phantom Menace, part of the responsibility lies with LucasArts, which did not want Big Ape to repeat elements of other Star Wars games.
