Acolyte 2 could show the origins of the Knights of Ren in Star Wars

Acolyte may have tied into several Star Wars story arcs, but the series was cancelled.

Project creator Leslye Headland revealed in the art book for Acolyte that Kimir/Stranger becomes the first Ren. It was he who founded the Knights of Ren.

This was built into the character design and also the fact that we were going to introduce Darth Plagueis, whose apprentice Palpatine would become. Following the Rule of Two, a regulation that limited the Sith to only two people at a time, one way to preserve this rule was to make the Stranger the first Knight of Ren. This is a cult associated with the Sith that we know ultimately survived.

Ahsoka from The Clone Wars will return in Season 2 thanks to Anakin Skywalker

The second season of Ahsoka will feature a new arc for the main character, based on Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Moreover, the action takes place approximately 30 years after the events of the animated show.

Rosario Dawson told (via The Direct) at Comic-Con Scotland that Ahsoka would "relax" and "get back to being joyful": "In the beginning she had more self-confidence and she was a little more deadpan. I like that she relaxes, her joy will return.”

Dawson attributes Ahsoka's relief to her interaction with Anakin Skywalker in Season 1, who appeared to her as a Force ghost in Between Worlds to teach her life lessons. Dawson said those interactions "were very important":

I think those moments with Hayden [Christensen] were very important for the character to heal. And I really like it. I think that in the second season we will be able to explore this topic much more.

The star added that viewers will see the Jedi "working a little more in the community." This will be a big change for Ahsoka, who has spent most of her time in isolation acting like a lone wolf.

Jar Jar Binks is back

Yesterday at Comic Con in New York, Marvel presented Star Wars: Jar Jar Binks #1 - a one-shot entirely dedicated to the most controversial hero of a distant galaxy.

The main intrigue of the issue is that one of the stories was co-authored by Ahmed Best, the actor who voiced Jar Jar Binks in the prequels and played Jedi Kelleran Beck in the show Star Wars: Jedi Temple Challenge and the 20th episode of The Mandalorian. The plot will revolve around these two heroes.

Star Wars Eclipse status updated - 4 years have passed since the announcement

The Star Wars game, announced in 2021, has received an update in development.

The franchise has experienced a slight decline in the last decade. Following the new trilogy of films, the films are mostly being developed on Disney+. Soon, a galaxy far, far away will return to the big screen, but things are mixed with games.

It seemed that the brand would regularly release blockbusters, but recently we only received Star Wars Jedi and Star Wars Outlaws. Several other games were cancelled, while others were delayed in development. One such project is Star Wars Eclipse.

The announcement took place at The Game Awards in 2021. This will be the first game set exclusively during the Rise of the Republic era. Moreover, Eclipse is expected to involve choices that shape the story.

The next Star Wars won't be part of canon

Lucasfilm's next project will not expand the Star Wars universe, offering a unique take on the franchise.

The line between canon and non-canon has been quite blurred for a long time. Everything changed after the studio became part of Disney. However, experiments with “Star Wars” did not stop there.
