After The Mandalorian and Grogu, the next Star Wars film will be Starfighter from Deadpool and Wolverine director Shawn Levy. As we get closer to filming, we will learn about new actors.

Ryan Gosling will play the main role in the film, and horror star Mia Goth will play one of the villains. According to Deadline, they will be accompanied by House of the Dragon star Matt Smith as the villain.

Details about the actor's character have not been disclosed. It is reported that the blockbuster will feature two enemies (presumably one of them will be played by Smith) hunting Gosling's character across the galaxy.

In the hope that Nintendo Switch 2 users will enjoy the action-adventure Star Wars Outlaws, Ubisoft showed a new video as part of a special Nintendo Direct dedicated to partners.

It's just a pity that instead of dynamic gameplay, the studio relied on cinematic sequences to show how the game would work on portable hardware. Shot directly from the console, the footage showcases key plot points designed to draw players into the life of smuggler Kay Wes during the events between Episode V and Episode VI.

Star Wars Outlaws will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 on September 4 with the Wild Card and A Pirate's Fortune story expansions.

Last year's release of Massive Entertainment's open-world action-adventure Star Wars Outlaws brought Ubisoft more disappointment than excitement, and it appears the French publisher has decided not to release a sequel to the game.

Recall that Star Wars Outlaws did not achieve the required indicators and did not live up to Ubisoft's hopes. According to the Insider Gaming portal, sales of the game in the first month on the market amounted to 1 million copies.

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot recently admitted that the failures of Star Wars Outlaws were caused by technical issues that accompanied the release problems and declining popularity of the Star Wars brand.

It was perhaps the first big post-Covid Sunday panel at Comic-Con: Star Wars creator George Lucas, 3-time Oscar winner Guillermo del Toro and Oscar-winning Death Becomes production designer Doug Chiang gathered to talk about the new Lucas Museum of Narrative Art (Lucas Museum of Narrative Art) in a very crowded room H.

This was Lucas' first time performing on stage at San Diego Comic-Con.

The panel was moderated by Oscar nominee Queen Latifah.

“This is a temple to folk art,” Lucas said of the Mobius strip-shaped building designed by Ma Yansong, which will open next year in 2026 near the University of Southern California campus in downtown Los Angeles.
