The Mandalorian and Grogu finally let Pedro Pascal fight in a helmet duel
Din Djarin's helmet removal is far from your typical Tuesday in The Mandalorian . This usually means vows, trauma, an emotional breakthrough, or Grogu staring at him with those huge eyes that seem to say, “Please ruin the internet.”
But in the series "The Mandalorian" and the movie "Grogu" it seems that Pedro Pascal does not just take off his helmet, but enjoys the dramatic scenes.
He trains without a helmet.
During recent press conferences for the film, Jon Favreau said that Pascal did "great scenes" without a helmet, adding that the team emphasized Pascal's physical fitness for a number of specific reasons. As Favreau put it, Pascal was a professional swimmer, so they brought him in to film in the water - and after they saw his fighting skills in Gladiator 2, they also had him fight without a helmet.
