What's New in Star Wars - March 2026

There's only a month left until the release of Maul - Lord of Shadows, but that doesn't mean thatStar Warsfans will have to wait for a sequel. March will see the debut of an all-new comic book that will serve as a prequel to the new Disney+ series, as well as a graphic novel about General Grievous and other characters from Clone Force 99, Kylo Ren, Poe Dameron and more.

The following is a list and description of all upcoming Star Wars projects due out in March 2026. It is important to note that all release dates listed are subject to change.

March 4 – Stories from Hyperspace: “The Bad Batch” - “Rogue Agents2”

The second issue of Dark Horse Comics' new comic book miniseries, written by Michael Moreci and illustrated by Rhys Hannigan, Elisabetta D'Amico and Michael Atiye, goes on sale this month.

The publisher's abstract reads: “The race is on to find a missing separatist scientist and his doomsday device! But with a new adversary at their helm, the Bad Batch is forced to turn to an old friend for help, and ends up getting embroiled in a shootout in the criminal underworld! With friends like these, you don't need enemies?

March 4 – Shadow of Maul 1

This month marks the release of the first issue of the long-awaited prequel comic Maul - Lord of Shadows, written by Benjamin Percy and illustrated by Madibek Musabekov.

The publisher's blurb reads: “An exciting, exciting prequel series set before the events of the upcoming Disney+ series! March 12 - audiobook "Poe and the Lost Ship"

This Audible exclusive audiobook, written by Michael Siglain, chronicles the latest adventure between Poe Dameron and BB-8.

The publisher's blurb reads: “When Poe Dameron and his loyal droid discover that the First Order has captured a civilian ship, their lives are turned upside down!”

March 17 – Tales from Hyperspace: Grievous

Michael Moreci wrote the script and Caio Filipe illustrated this all-new graphic novel about General Grievous.

The publisher's abstract reads as follows: “Count Dooku sent General Grievous to conquer the jungle planet Katow. This is an opportunity to prove Grievous' worth to his Sith Masters. The shepherds of Katow are no match for the mechanized monster. However, when the Jedi Knight Cardiff Bay and his clone troopers arrive, Grievous goes into the forest to operate more stealthily."

March 17 – Star Wars Legends: The Empire Omnibus Vol. 4

This month, Marvel Comics will release a collection of comics originally published inThe Empire Vol. 7, Vol.8and Infinites .

March 24 -Star Wars: Tales from Hyperspace - The Codebreaker' (paperback)

All four issues of Ethan Sacks' Poe Dameron miniseries are collected in this new paperback collection.

The High Republic officially returns this month!
