Star Wars and Avengers crossover turned out to be fake

The newsletter The Hollywood Reporter reports that rumors of a crossover comic ofStar Wars/Avengers, written by Mark Millar, was found to be unreliable. Commenting on the situation with the controversial “trailer” ofThe Mandalorian and Groguat the Super Bowl, THR adds the following:

Once again, internet stupidity has gone viral: a rumor about a crossover comic between Star Warsand Marvel'sAvengersthat was supposed to be written by Mark Millar. It was like an explosion on Alderaan. Either way, it's not true, so drink some blue milk and eat some cookies.

Why the crossover could happen

The reason the rumor seemed plausible was because Marvel had become more accepting of crossovers. Just remember the battle between the Avengers and Godzilla.

It was reported that the crossover could be announced next week on ComicsPRO. Last year, Marvel and DC announced a joint project there.

Apparently, they will get to Star Wars sooner or later. This may happen in the coming years, but not in the coming months.
