The Star Wars: Outlaws universe continues in the novel Low Red Moon

Lucasfilm expands this branch of a galaxy far, far away through literature: already February 3rd The novel "Low Red Moon" by Mike Chen, a New York Times bestselling author, will be released.

The events of the book will unfold in the interval between the films “The Empire Strikes Back” and “Return of the Jedi” - during the heyday of the crime syndicates.
Unlike the game, the novel shifts the focus from Kay Vess to Jalen Vraks, the criminal mastermind behind her recruitment. The story is told from his point of view and dives deeper into the underground world of smugglers, mercenaries and secret deals. ND-5, a BX-series commando droid who accompanies Vraks and performs reconnaissance and defense functions, also plays an important role in the plot.

The excerpt, published by Penguin Random House, culminates in a tense scene at the spaceport on Low Red Moon. As the investigation progresses, the heroes begin to realize that they are being followed, and the usual security and scanning systems stop working. Low Red Moon actually becomes a way to preserve and develop the world of Star Wars: Outlaws outside of the video game. The novel deepens the lore, reveals minor characters and gives fans a chance to return to the criminal corners of the galaxy - albeit in a different format.
