While an exact date has not yet been announced, the next major gaming event on the calendar is The Game Awards, which will take place later this month, making it a likely location for the announcement.

Now he clarified that the name ends with “The Old Republic”. Probably, we are talking about the long-frozen remake of Knights of the Old Republic. Announced in 2021, the project was postponed indefinitely in 2022, after which development moved from Aspyr Media to Saber Interactive. There have been few updates, but Saber management has repeatedly stated that the remake is still in development and remains a priority.

The Game Awards 2025 will take place on the night of Thursday to Friday, from December 11 to 12, starting at 03:30 Moscow time.
