Final Star Wars Project Announced for Disney+ in 2025

Although there haven't been any major big screen releases forStar Wars, Lucasfilm and Disney have had a busy 2025. Fans received the second season ofAndorand the third season ofStar Wars: Visions.

Next year, the franchise will return to theaters with the film The Mandalorian and Grogu, but another project will be released before the end of this year. The third season ofStar Wars: Young Jedi Adventureshas been confirmed to release on December 8th on Disney+. The series was originally scheduled for release in the fall, but was then postponed until winter.

Events take place during the Rise of the Republic (that is, the peak for Jedi Knights in the galaxy). Season three brings back most of the core younglings, led by Kai Brightstar, Lys Soleil, and Nubs. They will continue to learn the ways of the Force from Master Yoda.

The heroes will fight a dangerous blacksmith droid named Rek Minuu. There will also be a new ally in Dottie, known for her droid repair skills.

2026 will be a big year for Star Wars

A children's animated series is an ideal release before Christmas. However, this is not what loyal fans are waiting for.

The franchise returns to the big screen next May with The Mandalorian's solo adventure. A bet is being placed on the film, since the future of Star Wars largely depends on the box office receipts.
