New shot from the filming of “Star Wars: Starfighter” with Gosling

Star Warswill return in 2026 withThe Mandalorian and Grogu, followed byStar Fighter (Star Wars: Starfighter).

The filming process is half completed, as told by director Shawn Levy (Deadpool and Wolverine). To celebrate, he posted a new production photo. Ryan Gosling was back in the picture. Judging by the frame, they filmed the scene on the water.

In addition to Gosling, Flynn Gray plays one of the main roles. They were shown together at the beginning of the filming process.

Starfighter Plot Details

The story is dedicated to Gosling's hero, who protects his young nephew from certain villains led by Matt Smith's character. Rumor has it that another Jedi who survived Order 66 will appear in the film.

The events take place five years afterThe Rise of Skywalker. Sunrise. Some of the characters from the sequel trilogy may appear, but it will be a separate story.

The release will take place on May 28, 2027. It will be released in IMAX format.
