Acolyte 2 could show the origins of the Knights of Ren in Star Wars

Acolyte (Acolyte) could have connected several story arcs in Star Wars, but the series was cancelled.

Project creator Leslye Headland said in the art book forAcolytethat Kimir/Stranger becomes the first Ren. It was he who founded the Knights of Ren.

This was built into the character design and also the fact that we were going to introduce Darth Plagueis, whose apprentice Palpatine would become. Following the Rule of Two, a regulation that limited the Sith to only two people at a time, one way to preserve this rule was to make the Stranger the first Knight of Ren. This is a cult associated with the Sith that we know ultimately survived.

Will we see the Knights of Ren in the future?

It was previously assumed that the order of warriors appeared after the disappearance of the Sith and Jedi. Apparently,The Acolytewas supposed to rewrite the canon. Perhaps this idea will no longer be implemented.

The Knights of Ren are explored in the comics, but the movie seems to have decided to abandon them. Even if the film about Ben Solo was rejected, they are unlikely to plan to return the order to the cinema.

It seems more likely thatStar Warswill return to the classic Rule of Two. Given the rebirth of the Jedi under Rey's leadership, balance must be restored.
