Anakin Skywalker will return in the next Star Wars game

As part of the Summer Game Fest, they presented a new trailer for Star Wars: Zero Company - a tactical game in the spirit of X-Com based on Star Wars.

The video showed characters, including one of the main characters of the franchise. Among them is Anakin Skywalker, whose appearance is based on Hayden Christensen. The character will later appear in the second season ofAhsokaand in some other projects.

The release of Zero Company will take place on August 26 on PS5, Xbox Series S/X and PC.

Another game in the franchise will be released in 2026

Also at the Summer Game Fest they showed a gameplay trailer for Star Wars Galactic Racer. This is a racing game in the universe of Star Wars, which is scheduled for release on October 6.

The game is being developed by Fuse Games, a studio founded by people from Criterion Games. Previously, the team worked on Burnout and Need for Speed.

Star Wars Jedi 3 is also in development. Rumor has it that the threequel will feature a significant time jump.
